Tippr Teams with Facebook to offer Facebook Daily Deals

It’s a big day for us here at Tippr!

Today Facebook announced their new Deals program.  The group buying fever is running wild and the largest, most active social network is now in the Daily Deals game.  The new program will allow Facebook users to easily discover, buy, discuss and plan activities with friends with great Daily Deal offers.  The new program will launch in 5 test cities -  Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, San Diego and San Francisco.

Merchants featured on Tippr.com and the daily deal sites operating on the PoweredByTippr platform now have the opportunity to easily expand their reach into Facebook. By teaming up with Facebook Deals, the PoweredByTippr platform provides additional visibility for merchants and allows them to share their deals with a socially active and influential group of consumers. The PoweredByTippr platform will provide a streamlined approach for publishers to showcase daily deals to Facebook’s more than 500 million users.
